A special day, the Day of Knowledge...

September 1 in Russia is always a special day.

     At all places, capital cities or small villages, kids excitedly line up in school yards to listen to the First Bell of the new academic year. Clad in new, neatly ironed clothes, anxious to begin their studies those serious young faces can leave no heart unmoved.
